In the face of stress, all you yearn for is rest and calm

Sometimes, just a few minutes is all it takes

We live in a world that demands constant engagement: devices, deadlines, decisions. And many mindfulness practices require even more effort. More focus. More structure. More doing. What we truly need is less and a moment to let go. To do nothing. To think about nothing. To lie still… and just be.

THAT’S WHY I’VE DISCOVERED:

CLOUDWATCHING™

Cloudwatching™ meets you where you are

Unlike traditional practices, you don’t have to sit still. close your eyes, or quiet your mind. Cloudwatching™ is a gentle bridge from hurriedness to slowing down, from overstimulation to stillness, from doing… to simply being.

Cloudwatching is visually captivating, childlike and playful, and a quick reset, with no effort.

Just a blanket. You. And the open, expansive, and ever-changing sky.

The sky is something we all share. It’s always available, wherever you are. That’s what makes Cloudwatching™ so powerful: it’s a meditation practice that connects us all—under one sky.

What is Cloudwatching™?

An open-eye meditation almost anyone can do, anytime, anywhere by lying down and looking up.

Cloudwatching™ invites you to pause, rest, and reconnect with yourself by gazing at the vast and ever-changing sky.

Instead of your eyes locked on a screen, you lift your gaze, upward and outward, inviting a sense of spaciousness.

From that spaciousness, your breath begins to slow. Your body relaxes. You feel a gentle distance between you and your thoughts and feelings. And with that distance… comes perspective.

All it takes is 5 minutes and a view of the sky.

“I really enjoyed being still and being in the moment. ”

“Lovely watching the clouds go by. I am so used to looking at nearby objects, such as my phone, that I don’t look far enough into the distance. It feels good. My mind would wander to things  and the clouds would bring me back to the present moment. Lovely feeling the sun on my body.”

— BK, San Mateo, California

“… healing and soothing…”

“Creating this practice during such a stressful time (pandemic, separation from family and friends, schooling transitions, racial injustice, stressful election, wildfires and poor air quality, etc.) was healing and soothing for me.”

-JL, San Francisco

I have been in a better mood...”

Cloudwatching has helped clear up my mind or “brain fog.” My mind has been able to take a break from everything every day, even if it’s only for a few minutes. I have noticed that I have been in a better mood as I feel peaceful inside.”

Hi! I’m Dr. Letty Flohr

Founder of the Cloudwatching™ Method and your Cloudwatching™ guide

For many years, my focus was on outward transformation. I was obsessed with physical transformation: fine-tuning nutrition through a lot of experimentation, pushing my body through all sorts of exercise, exploring self-expression through clothing, and striving for peak performance as a Wall Street trader. But, deep inside, I wanted so much more, unshakeable inner peace, deep connection, and joy that could only be found within.

While earning a master’s in spiritual psychology, I began exploring the emotional and spiritual layers I had set aside. Along the way, I found not only healing and a deepening of my relationship with myself, but also a calling to help others reconnect with the still, steady place within themselves where peace, connection, and joy reside.

Now, I share a simple practice: 5 minutes of meditating with the sky. It’s gentle, grounding, and powerful. This practice can evoke peace, connection, and joy in any moment.
